Where to register
Durham and York are served by different Ontario Autism Program lead agencies. Going to the wrong one is one of the most common reasons families lose months before they are even in a queue. Check your region first.
Grandview Kids is the OAP lead for Durham Region, delivering Core Clinical ABA, Caregiver-Mediated Early Years, Entry to School, and Urgent Response Services as part of the OAP-D Partnership. Main campus in Ajax, with satellite locations in Bowmanville, Port Perry, Whitby, and Oshawa.
Grandview Kids autism programChildren’s Treatment Network of Simcoe York (CTN)is the OAP centralized intake and lead agency for the York Simcoe Autism Network (YSAN), coordinating Core Clinical, CMEY, Entry to School, and Urgent Response Services across York Region. CTN also hosts the region’s ASD Diagnostic Hub.

Children’s Treatment Network of Simcoe YorkKinark Autism Servicesdelivers OAP Core Clinical ABA, Foundational Family Services, CMEY, and Entry to School across both York and Durham (and Simcoe). It is a service provider in this region, not the intake point — register through the lead agency for your region above.
Grandview Kids (Oshawa/Ajax) is the main rehabilitation centre for Durham. Its "New Grandview" facility in Ajax brings the region's core autism services together under one roof.
Kinark Child and Family Services is a large agency with a strong presence in York (Markham/Vaughan).
Often serves as the lead agency for complex needs and respite coordination, and runs a sizeable clinical team for direct ABA therapy.
High density of private ABA centres and private speech clinics, often with lower waitlists than the city of Toronto.
Strong culturally specific services available, including Cantonese- and Mandarin-speaking therapists.
Recent growth in private OT clinics and sensory gyms serving the Durham population.
Families in these communities generally travel within Durham or York Region for OAP-registered clinical services, and rely on Grandview Kids, Kinark, and local school boards for interim support.
