No. Expense entries stay in this browser. The tracker creates a working CSV, a printable reconciliation summary and a JSON backup. Families with an AccessOAP-issued allocation still report through their AccessOAP account; the tool does not submit into that account.

Which OAP Core Clinical Services expenses are generally eligible?

Ontario lists applied behaviour analysis, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, mental health counselling or psychotherapy, directly related service-delivery supports and eligible travel. Provider qualifications, the treatment plan, the funding agreement and supporting records still matter.

What documents are needed for OAP technology or therapy equipment?

Ontario requires the invoice plus a letter of recommendation from a qualified regulated OAP provider for technology, program materials and therapy equipment. The recommendation must connect each item to assessed needs and treatment-plan goals.

How long should OAP expense records be kept?

Ontario says to keep original receipts, invoices and supporting proof of payment for seven years from the date on the invoice or receipt because the records may be requested in an audit.

Where are Core Clinical Services expenses reported?

If AccessOAP sent the allocation, expenses are reported through the AccessOAP account. A family that received a ministry allocation during the 2021–22 launch uses the ministry expense form and submits the required documentation to the ministry.

Method

How this works

The category guidance and document checks are based on Ontario's current Core Clinical Services guidelines and expense-reporting instructions, both reviewed August 27, 2026.

“Generally eligible” is a screening label, not an AccessOAP approval. Eligibility can depend on provider qualifications, assessed needs, the treatment plan, the funding period, the funding agreement and complete records. Ontario may amend the rules. When the purchase is unclear, contact your care coordinator before spending.

The CSV and printed report are preparation records. They do not replace the AccessOAP family-account workflow or Ontario's official form for ministry-issued 2021–22 allocations.
