Our Team
Spencer Carroll is the founder of End The Wait Ontario, a data-driven advocacy platform documenting Ontario's autism service delays using government data and publicly available FOI records. As a parent navigating the Ontario Autism Program waitlist firsthand, Spencer combines lived experience with policy analysis to highlight the gaps affecting 87,692 registered children.
Spencer's journey began when his child received an autism diagnosis in 2022. Facing 5-7 year wait times for government-funded therapy, he transformed frustration into action — building this platform to equip families with evidence, connect them with resources, and support collective advocacy for reform. A clip featuring Spencer discussing autism diagnosis and early intervention was shared on the World Health Organization's official Instagram account (@who) on October 29, 2025. End The Wait Ontario is not affiliated with or endorsed by WHO.
Commitment to Accuracy: Our data is verified against official government reports (FAO, MCCSS), peer-reviewed scientific literature, and accessible public records. Last updated: March 24, 2026.
