Your MPP represents you at Queen's Park. A constituent letter gets a response.
Use elections.on.ca or the MPP finder on this site to locate your local Member of Provincial Parliament by postal code.
Keep it to one page. Include your child's situation briefly — age, diagnosis date, how long you have been waiting, and how the delay is affecting your family.
Ask for a meeting in their constituency office, ask them to raise the issue in Question Period, or ask them to provide a timeline for when your child will receive services.
Most MPP offices respond within two weeks. If you do not receive a reply, follow up once by phone. Be polite and persistent — constituents have the right to a response.
If your MPP commits to action or provides a response with a timeline, consider sharing it publicly. Accountability is more effective when it is visible.
