How to check if a provider is on the OAP provider list
- Open the official OAP Provider List search (oapproviderlist.ca) and choose “Search for a Provider.”
- Enter your address or city. Use the filters for provider type, service options, Indigenous identity and languages, then select “Apply Filter.”
- Look for the provider in your results. Not finding them does not settle it. Ontario says the list is voluntary for the 2026–27 contract period, so families receiving OAP funding can still hire registered professionals who have not joined.
- Check the provider’s college. The official list names three: CPBAO for behaviour analysts and psychologists, CASLPO for speech-language pathologists, and COTO for occupational therapists. Each college lets you look up registered members.
- Ask the provider about space, waiting times, fees and how they work with OAP funding. Autism Ontario has a PDF of questions to ask before hiring a service provider.

OAP provider list questions
Is this the official OAP Provider List?
No. This page is an independent copy made by End The Wait Ontario. The official OAP Provider List is a separate website at oapproviderlist.ca, powered by Autism Ontario. We copy its listings on a set date, group them by organization and let you search them by postal code. Confirm any provider on the official list before you book.
Where is the official Ontario Autism Program provider list?
It is at oapproviderlist.ca. Choose “Search for a Provider,” enter your address or city, then use the filters for provider type, service options, Indigenous identity and languages. The website is separate from ontario.ca, which describes the list in its 2026–27 service objectives.
Is the OAP provider list the same as AccessOAP?
No. They do different jobs. AccessOAP is the main point of entry to the Ontario Autism Program. The OAP Provider List is a searchable directory of professionals who offer OAP core clinical services. Use AccessOAP for your child’s file and funding questions.
Is there an official list of approved OAP providers?
Ontario calls it the OAP Provider List. Providers apply, and the operator approves or refuses each application. For the 2026–27 contract period, Ontario says the list is voluntary. Families receiving OAP funding can still hire registered professionals who have not joined it.
What does a provider need to join the OAP Provider List?
For behaviour analysts, Ontario’s rules include good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, a year of full-time experience after registration, a vulnerable sector check in the past year, and liability insurance. Speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists have their own rules on the same Ontario page, with registration at their own colleges.
Does being on the list mean a provider has space or that I have funding?
No. Being on the list shows a provider met the qualification rules. It does not guarantee space, a wait time or funding. This page shows the accepting-new-clients flag as copied from the official list on the snapshot date, and it can be out of date. Ask the provider about space and ask AccessOAP about your funding.
How do I find ABA providers near me in Ontario?
Type your postal code or city in the search near the top of this page and choose Behaviour (ABA). Results sort nearest first. You can also filter by language and by providers accepting new clients. Then check each provider on the official list and ask about space and funding. This page does not rank providers or show wait times.
